Our Story

We built the tool we wished existed

TracePilot was born in the trenches of engineering operations. Our founding team spent years leading platform and delivery teams at high-growth companies, where a single question haunted every standup: “What is the actual status of this work?”

The answer was always buried across Slack threads, email chains, Jira boards, and git logs. Status reports were copy-paste marathons. Compliance audits meant weeks of digging through screenshots and spreadsheets.

We knew there had to be a better way. So we built TracePilot WorkOS — a single operating system that connects every tool in your engineering stack, captures every work signal automatically, and turns raw activity into clear reports and audit-ready evidence.

Mission

Make engineering work visible, accountable, and effortless to report

We are on a mission to give every engineering leader a real-time, trustworthy view of what their teams are building — without asking anyone to fill out another form. When work is visible, teams move faster. When compliance is continuous, trust is built-in, not bolted-on.

Values

What we stand for

Clarity Over Complexity
We believe engineering teams deserve tools that simplify, not complicate. Every feature we build must reduce noise and amplify signal.
Automate the Tedious
Manual status updates and evidence gathering steal hours from meaningful work. We relentlessly automate low-value tasks so teams can focus on what matters.
Built for Teams, Not Individuals
Real engineering impact happens across teams, not in silos. TracePilot is designed from the ground up for cross-functional collaboration and shared accountability.
Trust Through Transparency
Compliance should not be a last-minute scramble. We embed auditability into everyday workflows so trust is earned continuously, not manufactured at audit time.
